COOPETARRAZÚ – Costa Rica
Behind this coffee is the story of women coffee farmers, born with the aim of recognizing the contribution of women in the coffee chain being led solely by women.
The manual harvesting carried out by women coffee farmers and the natural roasting of the beans make the Costa Rican Specialty Coffee of the Caturra and Catuai varieties
The Tarrazú region has an ideal climate for the growth of some of the best coffees in the world, its altitude and volcanic soil rich in minerals create a clean, smooth and excellently balanced cup result.
The coffees of the Los Santos Tarrazú region are produced from 1200 – 1800 meters of altitude which means that they can be called SHB (strictly hard bean), the highest classification in the Costa Rican system.
