Hand-picking by women coffee growers and the natural roasting of the beans make Costa Rican Speciality Coffee of a variety Caturra and Catuai

The region of Tarrazú has an ideal climate for growing some of the best coffees in the world, its altitude and mineral-rich volcanic soil create a clean, smooth cup result with excellent balance.

The region's cafés Los Santos Tarrazú are produced from 1200 - 1800 metres altitude, which makes them strictly hard bean (SHB), the highest classification in the Costa Rican system.
