- Gives a more concentrated and full-bodied coffee.
- It puts the coffee under high pressure
> Needs fine grinding

- Uses boiling water pressure
- Concentrates the coffee flavour
- It is less intense than an espresso
> Needs medium grinding
Filter coffee machine
- Requires more preparation time
- Works only with the force of gravity
> Needs coarse grinding
