Mamapop allocates €88,085 to IRBLleida, the largest donation in its history
Mamapop has obtained a Record donation with 2025 concerts achieving the largest amount in its history: €88,085 destined to fund breast cancer research at the Lleida Biomedical Research Institute. The more than 88,000 euros raised in the last edition generate an accumulated amount of €407,970 that Mamapop has allocated in total to IRBLleida., consolidating the fact of being the first entity and first source of funding for breast cancer in this Institution. Adding the contributions received by the Pere Virgili Institute of Tarragona, the cumulative total that Mamapop ha destinado a la causa es de 492.695 euros.
All of this has been made possible thanks to ticket sales for the show, as well as various initiatives and contributions from charitable companies: Atlas Energía, Dental Codina, Fundación la Caixa, Isofred, Serralleitor y Cafés Batalla, which has raised 2,000 euros from the sale of its speciality product, Café Mujer. Mamapop also has the support and collaboration of Lleida Provincial Council and the Lleida City Council.
The founder and artistic director of Mamapop, Manel Simón Barberó, has handed over the cheque with the donation of €88,085 to the manager of IRBLleida, Eva López Truco, in an event that took place in the Plenary Hall of La Paeria.
