Cafès Batalla, Lleida's coffee, is participating in the Charity Fork Breakfast of the NGO Without Borders, which will take place on Saturday, 5 September 2026, at 9:00 am, in the Pati de la Panera in Lleida. With a menu made entirely from local zero-kilometre produce, which will include a good coffee from Lleida.
The objective of this Charity Fork Breakfast it is to raise funds for the project Bántaba 2025-2028, intended for the construction of a primary healthcare centre and a maternity hospital in Omorto (Gambia). The centre will provide essential services to the local population and neighbouring communities, offering emergency care, maternal and child health services, general healthcare and specialised treatments, thereby promoting community wellbeing and reducing health inequalities caused by geographical isolation.
Because a good breakfast can be much more than a meal. It can be a way of adding value, collaborating and helping to build health and a future.
