The manual harvesting carried out by women coffee growers and the natural roasting of the beans make the Costa Rican Specialty Coffee a variety of Caturra and Catuai
The region of Tarrazú has an ideal climate for growing some of the best coffees in the world, its altitude and mineral-rich volcanic soil create a clean, smooth cup and excellent balance.
The coffees of the region Los Santos Tarrazú are produced from 1200 - 1800 meters altitude, which makes them strictly hard bean (SHB), the highest classification in the Costa Rican system.

Structured, silky and balanced coffee with notes reminiscent of fruits and flowers with sweet nuances. It has light malty notes with a touch of acidity.

What is the SCA score?
All coffee beans can be graded out of 100 and according to the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), specialty coffee is Arabica coffee with an SCA score above 80.
This evaluation analyzes aspects such as aroma, flavor, acidity, body and defects. Everything to ensure excellence in the entire coffee process; from the seed to the cup.
