Yesterday we had the pleasure of receiving at Cafés Batalla's Lleida factory a group of students from the Agribusiness Management of the University of Costa Ricawho are in Europe on a learning route through different reference agri-food projects.
During the visit, the students were able to learn about our work process, from the selection of the green beans at origin to roasting and final preparation. Our team explained the importance of traceability, sustainability in the value chain and the coffee culture that has been part of our identity for more than 75 years.
It was an enriching day in which we were able to exchange knowledge, share experiences and talk about the challenges and opportunities of the coffee sector at an international level. We are proud to be able to open our doors to new generations who are being trained to drive the future of the agribusiness.
We greatly appreciate their interest and their visit, and hope that this experience has been as inspiring for them as it was for us.
