Continuing with our task of training and information about the world of coffee, on 12 February, we held a session for students of the 1st CFGM of cooking and catering services and PFI of cooking with students of the Escola d'Hoteleria del Pallars (Pallars School of Hotel Management) from Hug Roger III Institute.
The INS Hug Roger III offers two cycles of the Hospitality and Catering course (Grau Mitjà de Serveis en Restauració i Cuina i Gastronòmia). The three courses lead to a double qualification.
Together we had a unique sensory experience. The tasting training, with the barista Taia Zahariyaof Cafés Batalla, students discovered the differences between large green coffees, explored the unique aromas and flavours of freshly roasted coffee, and took their first step into the exciting world of speciality coffee. A first session full of learning and good coffee.
