The gala of the Michelin Stars 2026 has distinguished La Boscanathe restaurant in Bellvís of the Lleida-born chef Joel Castanyéwith the Second Michelin Star. In this edition, four Catalan restaurants have been promoted from one to two Michelin stars, including La BoscanaThe Pla d'Urgell restaurant is among the elite of the best restaurants in Catalonia, according to the Michelin guide.
According to the guide's jury, "La Boscana, by Joel Castañé, located in Bellvís, in Pla d'Urgell, reinvents the role of fruit in today's cuisine and uses it as the central axis of his proposals".
