Cindy María Burgos from Rugaca Bar, winner of the Barista Championship Battle Cafés 2025
Lleida, 17 November 2025 - Cafés Batallathe Lleida café, held the Barista Championship Coffee Battle 2025 in a special edition of its 75th anniversary.
The competition, held on the premises of the Cafés Batalla factory in the Camói dels Frares industrial estate in Lleida, lasted more than five hours and attracted more than 100 people, including several catering establishments, specialised journalists and family members of the participants. They all appreciated the interest and growing passion for speciality coffee culture.
The winners of the day were:
First Place (Gold Barista Trophy): Cindy Maria Burgos from Rugaca Bar (Huesca). He received the trophy and a high-end coffee machine. De'Longhi La Specialista Touchaccrediting it as the Best Barista of Lleida 2025.
Second Place (Silver Barista Trophy): Clara Fernández Donaire from Il Capriccio (Lleida), who won the trophy and the attendance and travel to the Coffee Fest of Madrid 2026.
Third Place (Bronze Barista Trophy): Blanca Forcada Aguado from Carme Pastry Shop (Lleida), who received the trophy and a filter coffee machine. Trinity Zero Black.
The Championship brought together 10 professional baristas who demonstrated their talent. The contestants of this special edition were:

Sensory Judge: Laura Bosch (LLEIDA 2024 CHAMPION), Owner of the Sucrerie patisserie.
Technical Judge: Albert Graells (HEAD OF ROOM AT LA SILVESTRE ESTRELLA MICHELIN) of Bellvis.
Sensory Judge: Mayer Z. Vincelle (Barista Champion Huesca 2025), representing the Vincelle pastry shop in Jaca.

This is your moment! Take part in the Barista Championship Coffee Battle 2025 and become the best barista of the year. A unique event where professionals y COFFEE LOVERS come together to compete, learn and enjoy a unique experience in the world of coffee.
What is the Batalla Cafés Barista Championship?
It is a competition organised by Battle Cafés which brings together 10 talented baristas ready to surprise with their skills and creativity, and to show who masters the art of coffee making the best.
How the competition works
The competition takes place in two rounds:
- First Round: La Comanda. In this phase, each barista is randomly given an order of eight classic drinks (espresso, ristretto, cappuccino, latte, etc.) and must be prepared in only eight minutes The speedthe accuracy and the quality are key!
- Round 2: Fantasy Drink. Here comes the moment to shine with creativity. Each participant has to create two original drinks at seven minuteswith or without alcohol, where coffee is the protagonist. It is valued the techniquethe cleaningthe presentationthe flavour and the explanation to the jury.
What are the requirements for participation?
- To be customer from Battle Cafés.
- Use the coffees of Battle Cafés, and the products of the organisation and sponsors.
- Respect standards of attitude, professionalism and dress.
- All competitors will wear the same coffee (?), milk, cups and mugs provided by the organisation.
The order of participation will be drawn by lot on the day of the event.
Why shouldn't you miss it?
