The title of Q Grader is the highest international recognition for a cupper and allows him\/her to work in many areas of the coffee environment.<\/p>\r\n<p>This level of certification is obtained by passing a CQI (Coffee Quality Institute) course using the SCA cupping protocol. This system establishes a common language to talk about coffee quality along the whole chain, from producers to consumers.<\/p>\r\n<p>According to the SCA, Q-Graders must calibrate their palates every 3 years to maintain the validity of this certificate. This ensures the stability and reliability of the coffee scores.<\/p>\r\n<p>These cuppers are indispensable in the coffee industry.
